The North Norfolk Fish company opened in 1997 offering a variety of fresh fish, smoked fish, and shellfish sourcing locally as much as possible. In addition there is a selection of our own home cooked produce including fishcakes, pates and sauces.
We understand that purchasing fish can be confusing, the different varieties, preparation and the many sustainability issues that we are presented with can be discouraging. It is our aim to help by preparing fish and giving as much information as possible. Alison Yetman who works with us had her own restaurant in Holt for many years and is always very generous in sharing her recipe suggestions and cooking advice.
Having lived and worked on the north Norfolk coast for many years we are fortunate in having a direct connection to seasonality and provenance of what we sell. Fish is a finite resource and we recognise our own responsibility in being part of this supply chain, fish is a wonderful food and should be valued.
